The real thing on a dealer's porch: dark shingle roofs, stepped small to large, each one on its own pressure-treated legs.

The family pattern

Started by his uncle. Carried by Barry for over 34 years.

Meet Barry

“I grew up working right beside my elders, learning the family patterns we still use today to build every dog house and garden swing.”

Barry, owner and builder

A shop, not a factory floor

The business was founded by Barry's uncle more than 44 years ago. Barry is a down-to-earth country fella who has spent over 34 years working with his hands, and he still runs the shop on Elberton Road in Tignall. Many of these designs were drawn up by family members years ago.

Built to outlast

Barry built his reputation on one simple truth: a product that structurally outlasts the competition. That's why the houses sit on pressure-treated legs, why the floor carries a 50-year warranty, and why the door sits off to one side.

What Barry tells every customer

Welcome to the family.

Katie Bennett bought a large house for Carrie Bradshaw, her ten-year-old pittie. “The owner of the company reached out to me yesterday and thanked me for my purchase and told me I was now ‘part of the family.’”

Delivered on our own trailer

37 dealers. One trailer with the name on the side.

Clark's houses reach feed stores, farm supply stores and Ace Hardware locations across three states, strapped down on the shop's own trailer, and they've earned the backing of Ace Hardware stores across the region.

“From his attention to the details he put in the merchandise he made I purchased to his exact time frame it was delivered to me was ABSOLUTELY…”

Nine, from the 2XS Puppy up to the 4XL Megatron. If none of the nine fits your dog or your yard, Barry builds custom dimensions on request.

5/8" T1-11 exterior-grade siding, a 3/4" Advantex floor that carries a 50-year manufacturer warranty, pressure-treated legs, and an OSB roof deck under asphalt shingles with a 20-year warranty, all held with galvanized spiral nails and coated fasteners.

Every house gets an offset door and a protective awning. Wind-driven rain blows straight through a centred doorway; set to one side, the sleeping corner stays dry.
